Season opener for Carrigaline

Carrigaline open their competitive season with a Dennehy Cup match away to Kinsale this Sunday 4th Sept 2011 with a kick off of 12 o'clock. Carrigaline encountered Kinsale twice last season woth a tight victory 8-5 in the league (courtesy of a last min try) and a comprehensive victory in the cup 46-8. These results aside it is sure to be a tough physical encounter. Carrigaline are under the guidance of new coach Kieran Ronan; assisted by John Coughlan and Bryan Jackson and new captain Roy Murphy who is off the back of an outstanding season. All four will be hoping for a strong start to the season.
