YOUTH RUGBY

Introduction

This is the third year of our very successful underage section for our local rugby club Carrigaline RFC. Our philosophy within the club is enjoyment and participation for all while introducing the players to the basics of Rugby Football.

Vision

Our vision is to make rugby available to the youth of Carrigaline and introduce children to the benefits of sport and exercise. In time we see Carrigaline RFC taking its place alongside other county towns throughout Munster by having the players, teams and facilities to match the best - as befits a town of the size and population of Carrigaline.

Coaching

All sessions are supervised and administrated by IRFU qualified coaches. Each involves teaching the skills of Rugby with a large emphasis on full participation. New Coaches are always welcome and we will ensure you receive the required qualification under the IRFU National Coaching Development Programme.
